Brickman is a real estate private equity firm that invests in US real estate opportunities with the perspective and insight of an owner-operator. Since 1992, the firm has invested over $3 billion in over 70 real estate transactions throughout the United States, ranging from core plus and value-added investment to developments/redevelopments and real estate related debt opportunities.
Brickman applies investment strategies across all risk spectrums and invests along the entire capital structure of real estate assets. Through its investment vehicles, the firm owns and manages over 4.5 million square feet of office, hotel and residential real estate assets.
Brickman Fund V, L.P. (“the Fund”) is the fifth fund to be sponsored and managed by Brickman and will seek to invest in distressed assets in the primary markets of United States as well as both performing and non-performing mortgage debt.
Opportunity:
Brickman is seeking to fill a position for a junior capital raiser/analyst located in New York.
This position will report to the head of Capital raising.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work directly with head of capital raising in developing existing and new client

relationships.
- Prepare marketing and investor materials, including pitch books, PPM’s, RFP’s, due diligence questionnaires, and all relevant docs.
- Develop and maintain financial models to measure fund performance.
- Assist in Investor Relations responsibly including communication to investors.
Candidate Profile:
- Preferred 1-3 years of real estate experience or degree in real estate finance
- Strong analytic and presentations skills
- Strong oral and communication skills (Willing to eventually cold call and interact with LP’s/Investors).
- Proficiency in excel, and power point are a must
